Sustainable Procurement Policy
We believe that establishing a sustainable supply chain is fundamental to conducting business globally as well as continuing our business. We will contribute to establishing and developing a sustainable society by identifying the social and environmental impacts of our raw material sourcing.
We ask all our suppliers to support this Policy and understand and cooperate in our sustainable sourcing efforts under this Policy. We also expect them to comply with the Supplier Policy under this Policy.

● Basic approach
We comply with the relevant laws and regulations of each country and territory in which we operate and international standards of conduct in all our business activities and will establish necessary systems. We will fulfill our social responsibility by responsibly sourcing raw materials and communicate with our stakeholders through information disclosure and dialogues.
● Human rights and labor practices
We respect fundamental human rights. We will not engage in any form of discrimination or harassment. We will eliminate and not get involved in any infringement of human rights. We will also ensure workplace safety and health and strive to maintain and improve a good working environment.
● Environment
Recognizing that companies not caring about the global environment cannot survive, we will contribute to creating a better society. In all our business activities, we will make active and sincere efforts to protect and improve the global environment, including the sustainable use of marine resources.
● Fair business practices
We will conduct fair and transparent transactions, make every effort to prevent corruption, including offering inappropriate benefits, and promote free competition. We will respect the intellectual property and other rights of third parties and appropriately manage personal and other information.
● Participation in and development of local communities
We will respect the cultures and customs of the local communities in which we operate and contribute to the development of the local communities through our business activities as a member of the local communities.

Supplier Policy
We believe that respecting human rights and establishing a sustainable supply chain are fundamental to conducting business globally.
Recognizing that our business activities may cause or contribute to adverse human rights impacts, we will promote our efforts to respect human rights as well as contribute to establishing and developing a sustainable society by identifying the social and environmental impacts of our raw material sourcing.
To achieve these commitments and meet the expectations of our stakeholders, we believe that it is essential to continuously make every effort to pay attention and address social and environmental issues with our suppliers. For this purpose, we have established this Supplier Policy, which outlines what is expected of our suppliers.
All our suppliers are expected to comply with this Policy. All companies and organizations in our supply chain are also expected to do so.
We ask all our suppliers to understand the purpose of this Policy, comply with this Policy, and actively promote their efforts under this Policy.

● Monitoring
We conduct periodical surveys of our suppliers to monitor the status of their compliance with this Policy. We visit our suppliers to facilitate communication, during which we may check the status of their compliance with this Policy and give them advice and guidance for compliance.
● Response to compliance violations
If a violation of this Policy is confirmed, we will demand that the supplier take corrective action and provide guidance, suggestions and assistance in taking corrective action as necessary. If we determine that the supplier is unlikely to take corrective action even after providing continuous guidance and assistance, we may re-evaluate our business relationship with the supplier.
- Compliance with laws and regulations
- ・ Each supplier shall conduct business activities in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations of each country and territory in which it operates and international standards of conduct.
- ・ Each supplier shall respect the intellectual property and other rights of third parties and appropriately manage personal and other information.
- Governance
- ・ Each supplier shall establish a course of action to comply with this Policy.
- ・ Each supplier shall have a system, a point of contact, person in charge, etc. to enable employees and third parties to report or discuss actual or potential violations of this Policy.
- ・ Each supplier shall take action to ensure compliance with this Policy and prevent violations of this Policy and periodically check the status of its compliance with this Policy.
- No forced labor
- ・ Each supplier shall employ all employees of their own free will and shall not force any employee to work or get involved in or promote any form of forced labor.
- ・ No supplier shall unreasonably interfere with employees' freedom of movement, whether during or outside of working hours.
- ・ Each supplier shall conclude an employment contract with each employee in a language that he/she can understand.
- ・ No supplier shall unreasonably require employees to deposit money or their ID cards.
- No child labor
No supplier shall employ children under the minimum legal working age, engage children in any work harmful to their development, or get involved in or promote any form of child labor. - Payment of appropriate wages and management of working hours
- ・ Each supplier shall properly manage working hours, holidays, and leave entitlements under applicable laws and regulations.
- ・ Each supplier shall pay employees at least the statutory minimum wage, endeavor to pay at least the living wage, and not unreasonably reduce wages.
- Provision of safe and healthy working environments
Each supplier shall work to provide employees with safe and healthy working environments. - Prohibition of discrimination or inhuman treatment
Each supplier shall respect human rights and eliminate any form of discrimination and shall not tolerate inhuman treatment, such as abuse and any form of harassment. - Respect for freedom of association and collective bargaining
Each supplier shall respect the right of employees to associate freely and engage in collective bargaining as a means of negotiating working environments, wages and other matters with the employer. - Environment
Each supplier shall endeavor to protect the global environment by considering the impacts of its business activities on local communities and ecosystems. - Responsible sourcing
- ・ Each supplier shall ensure sustainable and responsible sourcing by identifying the social and environmental impacts of its raw material sourcing.
- ・ Each supplier shall ensure traceability and provide us with key data elements for traceability as necessary.
- Fair transactions and prevention of corruption
Each supplier shall conduct fair and transparent transactions, make every effort to prevent corruption, including offering inappropriate benefits, and promote free competition. - Participation in and development of local communities
Each supplier shall respect the cultures and customs of the local communities in which it operates and contribute to the development of the local communities as a member of the local communities. - Information disclosure
Each supplier shall disclose information on the aforementioned matters in a timely and appropriate manner.
