  • Pangasius

    Sustainable seafood that's not just delicious

    Alaska pollack and hoki, representative white-fleshed fish, are declining in resources, and pangasius has attracted attention. This fish grows quickly, requires a small amount of food, and can be raised on plant-based feed, making farming environmentally friendly. Furthermore, TOREI's Pangasius is also characterized by being "ASC certified". "ASC certified" refers to marine products grown in farms that are operated with consideration for the human rights of workers and local communities without burdening the environment, and traceability of all processes until they reach consumers. The fact that the tea is managed is proof that it is safe, secure, people- and environment-friendly "sustainable seafood".

    Pangasius is a "white fish" that is widely used as an ingredient in fish and chips and fish burgers in Europe and the United States. The texture is fluffy, the taste is light, and there is no peculiarity. Therefore, it can be eaten safely by people of a wide range of generations, such as being adopted for nursing care workers, hospital food, and school lunches, and becoming popular as a spice-flavored "just bake" arrangement product.
